The Rattie Roos and Momma too!

A very Happy Christmas to my beloved little girls: Maxine, Freyja, and Luna! This is my very first Christmas with my ratties, and I’m fairly sure that this is their very first Christmas! I’m so happy I was able to give them this little Christmas, tree and lights included! This truly meant a lot to me, because I rescued Maxxie and Freyja from the abusive pet shop I’ve mentioned multiple times in my videos. They were mistreated, and since getting the two in February I’ve worked with them every single day to help socialize them and to help the two overcome whatever abuse they endured. Now it’s Christmas, and I’m positive that both Maxxie and Freyja have overcame their past troubles! Both are more loving, gentle, patient, and well behaved than they were when I first rescued them. They’re doing so wonderfully now, and I’m immensely happy and grateful for it!

And of course, sweet little Luna. She’s the baby, and I’ve raised her since April! I got her after she was weaned from her mother, and she was just this wee little rattie! She had the softest baby fur on her tail, and her ears were so big! I’ve watched her grow and mature into the playful, sassy ball of rat fuzz that she is now, and I’m so thankful for that.

These three sweet, loving little ratties have made such a great impact upon my life, and no matter what I do in my life or where I go, I’ll always remember my girls and the things they’ve taught me. They’ve woven themselves into my heart, my mind, and my life, and these sweet little rattie girls will forever be a massive part of my life.

I love you Maxine, Freyja, and Luna, my tiny little saviors!

*Note: though I normally do not state the brands of pretty much anything in my videos, I stated them this time both for personal reference and for fellow rattie owners. I thought it would be helpful to fellow rat owners as a guide to buying toys and treats for their little ones!

Moar festive Rattie Roo video spam…love! I just put up the lights and a tree a little bit ago, so I had to catch the ratties reaction to it all :3 They’re pretty happy little girls!

Why yes, I do indeed make all those noises at my ratties on a normal basis :’D ^_^ <3

I put up a little tree and some lights for Christmas, and my ratties are loving it <3

Maxine climbed up into the tree, and it was so precious to me that I almost cried <3 I had the sweetest smile on my face the entire time as she explored the tree <3

I got my hair wonderfully cut yesterday by my mother, so I thought I’d give a wee bit of an update of my life… with ratties of course!

Maxine is doing great! Her fur is slowly growing back, and she’s become much more cuddly and loving since recovering from her breast tumor removal. She’s just a very happy girl now! And of course little Luna is in the photo as well, though she’s more disguised due to the lighting, as well as being her usual sassy self - diving down into my shirt.

I myself have been pulling along. This week is finals, and I’ve only got one more to go. Other than that, I’m alright I guess. My break is about 3 weeks! During that time, I’ll be working on my diploma works project and my research paper for the project. I’m creating another book for my diploma works, and so far it’s 36 pages. Here’s to several months of painting, story telling, and snuggling with my rattie roos!

Two of my little “woogie woos”, Maxine and Luna, curled up and taking a rat nap together. Most of the time, Maxxie and Freyja are on that level and snuggling and napping, but this is one of the delightful exceptions!

Hi hi everyone! I’m migrating all my rattie posts from my old blog over to this one, so prepare for cute little fancy rat faces!

Nap Time

One of my favorite photos of two of my babies, Freyja and Luna were snug into their blankie and snuggling! I didn’t want to disturb them by trying to fit my camera into their cage door and then adjust the lens, so I took this through the bars, which is what the bold stripes are. Bar interference aside, I love this photo. It’s a perfect example of rattie affection!

Freyja is the bigger albino to the left, and the smaller, tan hooded rat is Luna <3
